Natural Dyes: Contemporary Art and Design Exhibition
The fourth Biennale of Natural Dyes (BoND 4) returns in 2025 with the theme “Locality and Reproduction,” bringing together 104 works from artists and designers worldwide — including 10 international submissions — all created using natural dyes as their medium. The exhibition explores the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary art, highlighting how natural dyes can spark dialogue between regional cultural heritage and modern creative practice. The exhibition venue is the Fashion Gallery.
Jorie is exhibiting three new works from her continuing “Sumi & Silk” with feltmaking technique in fashion expression. This follows through with her workshop during the conference introducing her techniques to participants. These full-length vests with pockets and fringe embelishments are seamlessly produced and reversible garments.
