This workshop covers the patterning of silk organza by scouring/degumming with Shibori dye techniques, followed by and introduction and preparation for the application of natural black Sumi Ink on silks and vegetal fabrics such as linen, ramie and cotton. We will also plan to overdye with acid color. On the third day, we will prepare layouts using your new unique fabrics, with a wool base, with the intention of producing a final work of your choice.
