Chief editor and publisher of Spinnuts publication, Honde Masumi is full of energy and what I would call an Ovies Aries Maniac (羊マニアック). Coincidentally that’s the name of her new YouTube Channel, SHEEPMANIA (羊のポンちゃんねる).
Honde and crew visited Jorie in her studio during annual Doll Festival season due to the use of red felt mōsen rugs used as decorative accents under the dolls. The perspective was broadened to the global stage discussing the differences between Eastern and Western approaches to creating patterns and felt.
