FILZ KUNST, Tradition Und Experiment by Marlène Lang

A stunning book written in German but with an astonishing number of images to study. Jorie Johnson contributed two essays on felt found in Japan (pp. 110-117). She reports her research on the Tang Dynasty Era Shōsō-in collection held in the Imperial Household Agency’s Repository in Nara and the tie-dyed felts referred to as Mokosen, both productions imported to Japan.
