Welcome to this three-day workshop during which we will create three design embellishments to be incorporated through traditional feltmaking. Learn how to employ clamp compression on silk with sericin erasure for repetitive markings; then apply carbon sumi ink to fabric for lamination with colorful wool tops during the felting process. Each day focuses on building layers of design elements (color, texture, line) to create a small felted scarf or sample work for framing.
