New York friends and fans, in conjunction with New York Textile Month, welcome to our four person exhibition C:TI with works by American artists Ana Lisa Hedstrom, Mary Jaeger, and Jorie Johnson, installed at the Mary Jaeger Textiles atelier in Brooklyn. And, with a guest artist from Tiblisi, Republic of Georgia, Nino Kipshidze, with her textile assemblages.
C:TI presents intricate hands-on textile work that examines age-old techniques reinterpreted in a modern format by three highly individual artists who manipulate fiber. The exhibition looks at their current visions of both art for the wall and for the body.
How exciting to be part of the 9th NYTM and share the event with long time friends.
