❄️ Waving from Kyoto!
こんにちは. Hello. Hallo. Ciao. Bonjour. Hei. 你好.

Dear Friends near and far,

JoiRae Textiles is sending a short update of recent events combined with a warm HOLICRAZE greeting to you(s).

This autumn went quickly, in and out of Kyoto, here's a snapshot glimpse of several events I would like to share.

Then, soon, come mid-January, the New Year 2024 kicks off with 「The KYOTO 3」a contemporary textile small works show curated by Keiko Kawashima.  Jan.13–Feb.3, 2024 @Neutral, Shinhorikawa Bunka Bldg, 2Fl., Kyoto. This extensive exhibition presents the work of 85 contemporary textile artists of Japan. Scroll down for more information.

「The KYOTO 3」is intended to coordinate with, and in recognition of an important era of textile art in Japan, “Kobayashi Masakazu & His Contemporaries, Beyond Fiber Art” at the Museum of Modern Art Kyoto (MoMAK), Jan.6-Mar.10, 2024.

If you are in the country, mark your calendar to visit MoMAK. They will also stage four panel discussions during the exhibition.

For updates and more information, as always, please check joirae.com.
